|Adventure| Sweetest Day Date

To celebrate Sweetest day, Rita and I went on an apple picking date. We went up to Blake's Big Apple Orchard out in Armada, aways from 7mile. It was crazy far, something like 35mile. It was great to be out there though. The last time I went apple picking I was 5, so everything was pretty new to me. Rita, being a veteran to apple orchards, laughed at everything I said and did. What can I say? I'm a city kid, so being out there in the boons is different. I did not know there were 30 different types of apple to pick from or that corn mazes really did exist. We had a blast though, picking apples and just walking around under the sun. We even munched on warm doughnuts and sipped fresh cider. After picking the apples, we went back to Rita's house, baked our first apple pie together, and brought it to her little cousin's birthday party. It was a great and much needed date.

So here are the obligatory photographs. It was a good day for photography, we even got a couple sun flares in, so you know it was popping. Haha. Rita even got in on the action and I have to say, I am really impressed on how she handled the manual focus, tilt-shift 45. Comment on which frames you like!

Notice the official Canon apple bag.
